Edlink's integration with Aspen offers smooth data synchronization via OneRoster.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Edlink does not support SSO with aspen at this time, but Edlink can facilitate SSO via a secondary source with matching email addresses.
Rostering
Edlink synchronizes core rostering data from Aspen, including districts, schools, sessions, courses, classes, people, enrollments, and agents.
Extended Rostering
Departments and Subjects are the only extended rostering models supported by Aspen.

Managing Coursework and Grades
Edlink enables developers to manage Assignments and passback grades in Aspen using OneRoster. Categories cannot be created or updated in Aspen using OneRoster. When listing categories, the categories are not listed by class; all categories are returned.
Enrichment with Aspen
Aspen can act as either a primary or secondary data source for Edlink.
- Primary Source: Aspen serves as the authoritative source for rostering.
- Secondary Source: When connected as a secondary data source, Aspen supplements data from other systems by providing additional enrollment or demographic details.
