ManageBac offers an API that allows Edlink to securely sync and manage data from ManageBac. This document outlines how to connect Edlink to ManageBac. For more information on ManageBac's API, see the Reference Documentation on ManageBac's website.
Before you begin
Before you can connect Edlink to ManageBac, you need to enable the ManageBac API. To do this, follow the steps outlined in the ManageBac API Documentation. Edlink will try to sync as much data as it is given permission to access. If there is data missing, please check the permissions granted to Edlink via the API Key settings in ManageBac.
Adding ManageBac as an Edlink Source
- Navigate to the Edlink dashboard.
- Click on the
Sourcestab in the left-hand navigation. - Click on the
Connect Data Sourcebutton in the top right corner. - Select your preferred storage region.
- Select
SIS Providersunder Select a Data Provider. - Next, select
ManageBac. - Provide a name for the source.
- Provide the API Key generated from ManageBac in the steps above.
