Troubleshooting Issues

Validation Issues

Please check the following points if your validation fails on your PowerSchool source.

1. Incorrect URL

If the URL is incorrect, all validation steps will fail.

Ensure that the URL you are using is the correct URL for your PowerSchool instance. This is typically the URL you use to log into PowerSchool.

2. Incorrect Client ID or Client Secret

If the Client ID or Client Secret is incorrect, all validation steps will fail.

If you are using the wrong Client ID or Client Secret from another plugin, the first step will pass, but all other steps will fail.

Make sure that the Client ID and Client Secret you are using are correct. These are generated when you install the plugin. Verify that you are using the proper plugin credentials.

3. Plugin Is Not Enabled

If the plugin is not enabled, all validation steps will fail.

You can resolve this by clicking on the plugin and enabling it.

4. Incorrect Plugin ZIP File Was Uploaded

If the incorrect plugin ZIP file is uploaded, the first validation step will pass, but all other steps will fail.

You should re-download the plugin and install it again: Download the plugin.

5. Plugin ZIP File Has Been Modified

If the plugin ZIP file has been modified, the first validation step will pass, but all other steps will fail.

You should re-download the plugin and install it again: Download the plugin.
