How the Integration Works
Edlink's integration with Aspen enables synchronization of roster data via OneRoster on a delayed basis. The integration uses Aspen's OneRoster API endpoints directly to manage coursework and grades on an immediate basis. OneRoster entities are converted to Edlink objects through a standardized transformation process.
Categories
Categories are not listed by class in Aspen using OneRoster. All categories are returned when listing categories.
HTTPS Validation
Because of issues with Aspen's SSL certificate, you may need to disable SSL validation when connecting to Aspen. This is not recommended, but it may be necessary in some cases. Please contact support if this is necessary for your integration.
