Edlink simplifies integrations with Microsoft Entra by focusing on identity management and Single Sign-On (SSO). It supports synchronizing user accounts, including teachers, students, and staff, while ensuring secure authentication workflows. Single Sign-On (SSO)
Edlink fully supports Single Sign-On (SSO) via Microsoft Entra. This allows users to log in with their existing Microsoft credentials, providing a secure and streamlined authentication experience across educational platforms.
Identity Management
Edlink's Microsoft Entra integration focuses on syncing identity data for teachers, students, and staff. This ensures accurate and consistent user data across connected systems. Supported identity features include:
- Synchronization of user profiles, including roles and contact information.
- Integration with Edlink's unified API for streamlined user management.
Primary Use Cases
- Authentication: Enable secure login workflows with SSO powered by Microsoft Entra.
- User Data Synchronization: Ensure consistent user data across platforms by syncing identity profiles.
Unsupported Features
The Microsoft Entra integration does not include:
- Synchronization of schools, classes, or enrollments.
- Coursework or assignment management.
- Extended rostering capabilities such as attendance or incidents.
