Required Scopes

This is the list of scopes that Eduplaces must approve your application for. Eduplaces has the final authority over any scopes they choose to grant us, but this is what we need for each feature.

For SSO:

• openid
• school
• profile
• role

For Syncing Rostering Data:

• urn:eduplaces:idm:v1:schools:read
• urn:eduplaces:idm:v1:- urn:eduplaces:idm:v1:people:read`

Sources are Created Automatically

Sources in Eduplaces are created automatically. They do not follow the same process as other providers. The only steps required in Edlink are to toggle on Eduplaces Sync and enter the Eduplaces Client ID and Client Secret.

The school should make sure they have followed the steps in Integrating with Eduplaces.
