Connecting HelloID

Prerequisites

• A primary data source (SIS, LMS, or CSV upload) must be configured in Edlink before HelloID integration.
  • HelloID is used exclusively for authentication, not roster data management.
• Valid HelloID subscription with OAuth 2.0 and OIDC capabilities enabled.
• HelloID users are required to have an email address associated with their account.

Integration Workflow

1. HelloID Configuration: Organizations set up HelloID as their IdP to manage authentication.
2. Edlink Connection: HelloID connects to Edlink through OAuth 2.0 and OIDC protocols.
3. Source Integration: Link HelloID authentication to your primary data source (such as SIS or LMS) to enable user access.
