Grade Level is the standardized value that describes a student's grade level. Districts define their own grade level codes; Grade Levels are the code mappings that connect those district codes to the values below. See Code Mappings for more information.
These values are from the Common Education Data Standards. Using standardized values lets you compare enrollment and rostering data across districts that use different local codes for the same grade.
