Split Sections into Classes
This transformation has been formally deprecated. Read more in the Deprecating Sections document.
This block converts each section in a class into its own class and deletes the parent class. Enrollments will be moved accordingly.
When using the Split Sections into Classes
transformation the dataset will contain classes that do not exist in the source.
This means that when attempting to create assignments in these classes there is not a class in the source system to create the assignment in.
Because of this Edlink will create the assignment in the source class and attempt to assign it to the individuals enrolled in the section.
In turn, after creation of an assignment in a computed class you will see assignee_mode
set to individuals
and any assignee_mode
you set will be ignored.
