How Edlink Works

For Companies

Edlink is a platform that allows companies to quickly integrate with schools and universities.

  1. Your company can sign up and evaluate Edlink's product for free.
  2. You can then use our REST APIs to build and integration with Edlink.
  3. Finally, you can start onboarding production schools.

In essence, Edlink can be described as a "middleware". It sits between your company's software and the school's software. It allows your company to send and receive data from schools in a standardized way and provides a bunch of out-of-the-box tools to manage your integrations.

For Schools

While Edlink isn't specifically designed for schools, it gives them a smooth integration process and greater levels of control over their data than building a direct integration normally would. Edlink is a third-party subprocessor to the company to assist with integration and not a tool that is "rolled out" to teachers and students.

  1. The school IT administrator receives a request from a company to integrate with Edlink.
  2. The IT administrator completes the 5-10 minute onboarding process to set up the integration.
  3. After integrating, the admin can manage the integration from the Edlink dashboard.

Edlink allows schools to quickly and safely establish LMS and SIS integrations with vendors that they use. It also provides a dashboard for IT administrators to manage these integrations and the data that is shared between systems.
