About The Great Books Foundation:

The Great Books Foundation (GBF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and believes that literacy and critical thinking help shape reflective, knowledgeable citizens ready to participate constructively in a democratic society. Their mission is to advance critical and reflective thinking, as well as social and civic engagement, through Shared Inquiry™ discussions of timeless works and ideas.

About the Relationship:

GBF and Edlink first connected back in June 2021 when GBF needed LMS integrations, such as Canvas and Google Classroom, to meet district and school connection needs through their digital platform. Since then, the relationship has continued, and now as GBF heads into another school year with their new and improved Junior Great Books Digital Classroom product, GBF’s platform provider will change as well. To ensure a successful transition, GBF decided to continue to work with Edlink to support integrations with GBF’s new platform provider.

Through a single integration with Edlink, GBF’s new platform provider allows Edlink to continue to provide GBF with connections to top LMS, SIS, and IAM providers including Google Classroom, Canvas, and Schoology to name a few. Plus, with Edlink’s 5-minute IT Admin Onboarding Flow, GBF can still connect learning institutions to their content in a fast, simple, and self-guided way. As their integration partner, Edlink can continue to support the GBF team in their integrations, so GBF can remain focused on their mission instead of building integrations.

Edlink is the fastest and easiest way to integrate your learning platform with school data systems. Working with Edlink's Unified API saves development teams from headaches, accelerates time-to-market for operational teams, and helps sales teams win more deals.

Edlink currently supports 120+ edtech companies and helps over 40 million people use their edtech products seamlessly with their school’s LMS, SIS, and identity management platform (like Clever and ClassLink). We’re trusted to exchange sensitive data securely by edtech companies, school IT administrators, and district leaders in over 4,000 educational institutions, and growing.
