About imagi:

Right now, most students only know AI as something that answers their questions for them. imagi flips that: we give students access to real-world AI tools, like Lovable and make it safe for them to think, build, and create with AI. Students go from prompting to actually building with AI: real skills, real creation, inside a platform schools can trust. Instead of just using technology students are now empowered to create the technology.

What does this look like in the classroom?

In the classroom, students start with a problem they want to solve. They describe their idea in plain language, and imagi helps them turn it into something real: a working app, a game, an interactive story, or a tool that matters to them. AI handles the heavy lifting of the code, so students can stay focused on the most important work: thinking, creating, problem-solving, and building.

About the relationship:

imagi’s CTO and co-founder, Beatrice Ionascu, first connected with Edlink after Edlink’s Danny Kopack reached out to learn more about imagi’s integration plans. After a few initial exchanges, both teams agreed it made sense to schedule a deeper conversation to explore how Edlink could support imagi’s growth by offloading their integrations.

As imagi looked toward larger district opportunities, integrations were becoming a more important part of the buying process. Schools expected support for the tools they already used, and imagi wanted a scalable way to meet those requests without building and maintaining each integration internally.

At the same time, imagi wanted to make it easier for districts to adopt their platform by supporting systems schools already rely on every day, like Google Classroom, Canvas, Clever, and ClassLink.

That’s where Edlink came in.

"Instead of building and maintaining separate point-to-point integrations for every system a school might use, we chose Edlink to build one integration and get access to all of the systems schools use. "
- Beatrice Ionascu, CTO and Co-Founder of imagi

Through one integration to Edlink’s Unified API, imagi can connect to dozens of LMS, SIS, and identity management platforms used by schools today. By partnering with Edlink, imagi can:

  • Reduce the operational burden of building and maintaining multiple integrations one by one
  • Maintain tighter control over student account provisioning and data-sharing workflows
  • Scale more confidently into larger districts without diverting engineering resources away from their core product

With Edlink managing the complexities of school data integrations, imagi can stay focused on its mission of helping schools adopt real-world AI tools safely and responsibly.

Edlink is the fastest and easiest way to integrate your learning platform with school data systems. Working with Edlink's Unified API saves development teams from headaches, accelerates time-to-market for operational teams, and helps sales teams win more deals.

Edlink currently supports 150+ edtech companies and helps over 75 million learners and families use their edtech products seamlessly with their school’s LMS, SIS, and identity management platform (like Clever and ClassLink). We’re trusted to exchange sensitive data securely by edtech companies, school IT administrators, and district leaders in over 7,000 educational institutions, and growing.
