Case Study: UniqLearn scales with frictionless integrations
Founded in 2024, UniqLearn is an NYC edtech startup helping K-12 students learn in more personalized ways, and they're in the enviable position of growing quickly. As they began to scale, they turned to Edlink for help with integrations.
The challenge: Onboarding new districts quickly and easily
UniqLearn’s growth meant onboarding new districts quickly, but integrations can be difficult to build and maintain. This is especially so with early pilots taking up a lot of bandwidth.
And as new district opportunities came in, the UniqLearn team needed a reliable way to connect their platform to the school systems districts already use – without pulling engineering time away from building core product experiences.
The solution: One integration partner that can scale
UniqLearn partnered with Edlink to power key integration needs — including Single Sign-On (SSO), rostering, assignment sync, and grade passback — across both LMS and SIS ecosystems. They needed to move beyond manual workflows such as class creation and CSV imports, and instead use a solution that could be set up quickly and work across a wide range of district environments.
After setting up a developer account, UniqLearn executed major integrations with systems such as ClassLink, Clever, Google Classroom, Canvas, and Schoology, and later added SIS support such as Sapphire.
Just as importantly, they wanted an easy way to onboard educators and students, and to keep assignments and grades in sync, so districts could implement smoothly and teachers could use their product without friction.
The results
With Edlink in place, UniqLearn can work with districts across major integration partners (and even smaller ones), reducing friction during onboarding and keeping conversations centered on the value of their product and the student outcomes it supports.
