About the partnership:
SchoolRunner is utilizing Edlink's User Data API to add additional SSO options for users to connect their LMS account. Consequently, the Edlink API will also allow the Schoolrunner platform to work seamlessly with Canvas courses, assignments, and assessments.
Once a user (a student or a teacher) is signed in with their LMS, SchoolRunner can access their courses, assignments, and assessments. Depending on the LMS, SchoolRunner will also be able to access assessment questions and individual student responses to these questions. This makes it easy for to continue providing powerful analysis tools to their customer schools so leadership in those schools can in turn can keep making data‑informed decisions.
Although SchoolRunner was initially interested in utilizing the Canvas portion of the Edlink API, they technically have access to the full reach of the Edlink API and will be ready to say "yes" at the drop of a hat in response to a customer request or an RFP requiring any other systems the Edlink API supports.
