Recently, Edlink expanded its SIS integrations and reached out to Veracross for a test sandbox. Jessica Wallis from Veracross responded, setting up a meeting with Edlink’s Osei Bonsu to discuss building an integration. Chaz Woodstock from Veracross joined Jessica for the meeting. After learning more about Edlink, Chaz saw potential for a broader partnership than initially envisioned.
Jessica and Chaz then met with Edlink’s founders, Amanda Goodson and Dakota Gordon, to discuss the project further. Veracross had several customers (districts) requesting LMS integration to automate roster and grade updates, which were currently done manually, causing significant inconvenience for educators and staff. After discussing specifics and a pilot strategy, it was clear how Edlink could help Veracross as an integration partner.
This partnership created the first SIS-LMS connection supported by Edlink, with plans to expand connections to other LMS providers like Schoology. As Edlink builds more connections, Veracross enhances its interoperability and marketability without incurring the high costs and extensive time required for developing integrations internally. Edlink supports Veracross users with powerful integration features like single sign-on, rostering, and grade sync to Google Classroom. With Edlink as its integration partner, Veracross now offers a Google Classroom integration, providing new value for its customers (districts).
