About the relationship:
ImmerseMe’s Tomas Brown and Scott Cardwell were unsure about choosing the company’s direction for back-to-school. The ImmerseMe team saw 2 ways to best position themselves for growth:
- ImmerseMe needed more integrations, and
- ImmerseMe had to continue to expand the product's features.
After Tomas built their 1st integration directly with a common Identity and Access Platform (IAP) the team knew they would have to sacrifice with either choice. Scott would have to hire another developer to build integrations, eating up expenses and time. Or Tomas would have to split time between building core product features and integrations – limiting the progress he could make on either. So, after receiving a (very tailored ) cold email from Edlink’s sales team, Tomas booked a meeting. Tomas and Scott were enthusiastic about engaging with a partner who could help them get the best of both worlds: they could focus on their core product while Edlink provided them with integrations.
With one integration to Edlink, ImmerseMe gains dozens of LMS, SIS, and IAP integrations. ImmerseMe’s new clients in the Australasia region can rest assured their data won’t ever leave Australia - Edlink’s forward-looking infrastructure includes regional sharding. Tomas also could plan to build an Edlink integration in under 4 weeks. That timeline creates availability to build other core features for ImmerseMe. With Edlink as a partner, ImmerseMe can do what they do best: help students learn new languages.
