Edlink is proud to announce a new client partnership with SchoolTube.

About SchoolTube: SchoolTube provides COPPA and ADA-compliant video creation, hosting and sharing services to  K12s administrators, educators and students. SchoolTube was launched in 2007 to provide a safe alternative to YouTube ® for K12 communities and their video sharing needs.

Today SchoolTube has active users in over 70,000 schools and because of their content controls, SchoolTube is viewable in over 90% of US K12 schools.

About the partnership: SchoolTube is working with Edlink for their interoperability strategy. While SchoolTube continues to build and maintain the best and most useful video management and sharing platform in K12, they're leaving the LMS integrations to Edlink. More specifically, the Edlink API is helping SchoolTube users to get signed onto SchoolTube using their learning management system, and is also making it possible for teachers to assign videos to students in a way such that the video will show up in the LMS.

"Edlink has enabled SchoolTube to offer SSO through top K12 ed-tech platforms such as Clever, Google Classroom and Schoology," said Carl Arizpe, SchoolTube Founder.  “Thanks to Edlink, SchoolTube has been able to support the significant increase demand for our services stemming from Covid-19 school closings."

- Carl Arizpe, Founder of SchoolTube

About Edlink:

Launched in February 2020, Edlink is the fastest and easiest way to integrate your learning platform with school data systems. Edlink is on a mission to make sure teachers and students can spend their valuable class time learning, rather than juggling tech tools.

Today, Edlink is working behind the scenes to help over 5 million students get logged into all the various learning platforms they use, using their LMS (a system students already know!). They're making sure teachers aren't spending their "free" periods copy + pasting grades from one system to another, and they're trusted to exchange sensitive data securely by tech administrators and leaders in over 700 US K12 school districts, and growing.
