About the Relationship:
Pathways K12 was preparing to address a wider market. They had a PowerSchool integration but needed to sync with a broader range of SIS providers to expand. While preparing, Pathways K12’s Byron Headrick answered a cold call from Edlink’s Jimmy Louise. Hearing about the opportunities Edlink offered for more integrations, Byron set up a meeting to discuss further.
Pathways K12’s Byron and John Higginbotham met with Edlink’s Nick La Riza. Byron explained PathwaysK12’s recent history and plans, which required more SIS integrations like Infinite Campus and Skyward. Additionally, their team was looking forward to meeting frequent requests for single sign-on with Schoology. The Pathways K12 team noticed inconsistencies in how learning institutions formatted, used, and organized data, which required them to create workarounds. Byron was interested in Edlink’s potential to correct "dirty data" and streamline their data management.
By building one integration to Edlink, Pathways K12 gains dozens of connections to LMS, SIS, and IAM providers (e.g., Schoology, Infinite Campus, Skyward).
