About the relationship:

Gladeo was first planning to shift towards a direct sales model to K12 learning institutions when Edlink's Jimmy Louise sent Gladeo’s Grace Cho a personalized email. After a few exchanges and learning more, Gladeo wanted to see if Edlink could help with their future integration plans starting with a specific learning institution.

When they met, Gladeo explained their platform would need to be interoperable with LMS providers and other systems commonly used by learning institutions to support their users (educators and students) in using Gladeo. Ideally, Gladeo would have integrations to support:

  • educators and students to log in seamlessly,
  • educators to access class lists,
  • educators to assign Gladeo exercises with the ability to review student responses, and
  • students to access Gladeo's web app and assignments directly from within their LMS.

In one integration to Edlink, Gladeo can connect to +25 LMS, SIS, and IAM providers. Through Edlink’s integration, Gladeo can host powerful integrations to support their educators and students with SSO, rostering, content sync, and grade passback. To start with Edlink, Gladeo decided to pilot SSO to Schoology with plans to expand integrated functionality through several data providers. With Edlink as their integration provider, Gladeo can focus on their product without having to spend thousands of dollars or hundreds of hours developing integrations one by one.
