About the relationship:

Closegap faced challenges with its integration experiences at learning institutions. There was no automated way to provision access for school mental health professionals on staff and roster the students they serve. This issue arose because Closegap’s current identity management integration lacked a clear method to tag school mental health professionals within a learning institution’s data system. As a workaround, Closegap had to manually piece together custom non-class rosters, which wasn’t scalable.

When Edlink reached out and met with Rachel Miller from Closegap, her team was searching for a simple solution to this complex problem. Rachel explained that Closegap needed this class functionality but wasn’t looking to build additional integrations. Another issue was the lack of support resources to manage their integration effectively.
