About Magic School:

Magic School (Magic) is a team of lifelong educators who understand the extensive behind-the-scenes work teachers do. They created MagicSchool.ai to help lighten this load, allowing teachers to focus on classroom teaching.

About the relationship:

Magic was gaining organic success and needed an integration with Canvas (among others). Edlink’s Miguel Doñes sent a timely email, leading to a meeting between Magic’s Todd Tobin and Edlink’s Nick La Riza. During the meeting, Todd explained that while the Magic team was lean and focused, they needed an efficient way to integrate with Canvas without diverting their resources. They wanted to avoid spending thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours on integration development, preferring to concentrate on their core product.

By building one integration with Edlink, Magic could connect to over 25 popular LMS, SIS, and IAM providers, including Canvas, Google Classroom, and Clever. This build could be done in about 4 weeks and would support essential features like single sign-on (SSO) and rostering. Now with Edlink as their integration partner, Magic can expand its integration capabilities without compromising its core product development.

When asked what was their deciding factor for choosing Edlink, Magic said:
“The number of integrations we get out of the box with Edlink. And Nick was great!”
- Todd Tobin, CTO of Magic School
