About Let’s Go Learn:
Let's Go Learn’s (LGL) mission is to develop solutions that are practical and easily sustained in today’s educational climate, providing students with the support necessary to ensure long-term success. Over the last two decades, LGL has evolved to include diagnostic math assessments, adaptive math and reading instruction, and leadership training services to its users (educators and students). LGL’s products have been statistically validated for reliability and are aligned with Common Core and state standards.
About the relationship:
The LGL team was faced with an interoperability problem – to work with a state’s worth of learning institutions, the LGL platform needed to integrate with PowerSchool. Until that point, LGL had already built a Clever integration but didn’t have an automatic way to pass back content or grades. In asking through LGL’s network, LGL’s CEO and Co-Founder Richard Capone was introduced to Edlink’s Amanda Goodson, which led to the two parties talking.
When Richard and Amanda talked, Richard mentioned what was important to LGL. At the time, LGL could only offer SFTP uploads, but LGL’s roadmap had upcoming milestones that involved integrations along the way, like PowerSchool. Richard knew building integrations in-house was time-consuming, costly, and could become too complex for their sales teams to keep up with its capabilities. Sure, the immediate need was a PowerSchool integration, but Richard truly was looking for a solution to all their future integrations. Understanding their needs, It was clear how Edlink could help LGL as their integration partner.
By building one integration to Edlink’s Unified API, LGL gains dozens of connections to top LMS, SIS, and IAM providers (like Schoology, PowerSchool, and ClassLink, to name a few). Through Edlink’s connections, the LGL team can support integration features like single sign-on, rostering, grade passback, and content integration. Plus with Edlink’s connections, the LGL sales team can just say “yes” to integrations, making sales simple for future LGL customers. With Edlink as its integration partner, LGL can check integrations off of its roadmap while saving thousands of dollars and hundreds of development hours.
