How Rules Work in Edlink
Here's the most important thing to know:
The data viewer contains all of the data that will be shared from the LMS to the learning application.
Any data that does not appear in the data viewer will not be shared.
In the above screenshot there are two rules.
1) Class titles that equal "Algebra" will be shared with the application. So, only classes that are called Algebra, without any additions, will be shared.
2) Class titles that start with "Biology," will be shared. So, if there are classes called Biology 1 and Biology 2, they will both be shared.
The logic between rules is "and" instead of "or." In other words, if you create multiple rules, you should consider the rules combined. Any class you'd like to share with the app must match at least one of the criteria in the data viewer.
Tip: Following the "and" logic, if one rule includes a class, and the other excludes it, the class will be included in your data. You can't add a second rule to remove data in the first rule.
