New Client Announcement: Intuit
About Intuit:
Intuit is a global technology platform that helps consumers and small businesses manage their financial lives. Through their education programs, Intuit provides real-world financial literacy tools and curriculum for high schools, empowering students with essential financial knowledge and skills. Their mission is to ensure that students are better prepared for financial success in their personal and professional lives.
About the relationship:
Intuit for Education was looking for a way to integrate their content and assignments in a seamless workflow from its education platform to other LMS providers. Coincidentally, Edlink's Miguel Doñes reached out to Intuit's Jared Davidove via a tailored email, which led Jared to book a meeting with Edlink's Nick La Riza to learn more about Edlink.
During their call, Jared and Nick discussed Intuit's goal to have an LTI-compliant integration to connect with popular LMS providers, but would still need an integration for providers like non-LTI-specification-compliant systems like Google Classroom. Ultimately, Intuit was looking for a solution to let them host seamless experiences for their users while engaging with Intuit’s education content regardless of the data provider used. Jared knew his team could build these integrations but was looking for a way to cut down their development costs and save his team time.
In one integration to Edlink, Intuit could connect to 25+ LMS, SIS, and IAM providers like Google Classroom and Canvas. Using Edlink’s integrations, Intuit could choose to use API or LTI specification integrations to tailor how they support learning institutions without worrying about the variations of how providers implemented the specification. Plus, Edlink’s assignment sync would let Intuit have a more ideal assignment sync flow - letting students access Intuit content seamlessly from within an LMS without a separate login. With Edlink as their integration partner, Intuit can save thousands of dollars and hundreds of development hours not building integrations and continue to focus on delivering high-quality educational content.
