ECS Learning Systems needed integrations with several LMS providers to meet recent district requests. Around this time, Chief Business Development Officer at ECS Learning Systems Mary Jo Eldridge, got a tailored email from Edlink's Jimmy Louise. Following their exchange, Mary Jo and ECS Learning System's Operations Manager Annette Richardson booked a time to learn more about Edlink with Jimmy’s teammate Nick La Riza.
During their first call, Mary Jo, Annette, and Nick discussed ECS Learning Systems’ plan to meet district requests. Some districts specifically requested integrations to ClassLink and Clever. The plan would let districts connect to ECS Learning Systems’ app and remove the need to upload or duplicate manual roster data in the app. The ECS Learning Systems team also wanted to future-proof their product by gaining connections to Google Classroom among other LMS providers, if possible.
In one integration to Edlink, ECS Learning Systems could connect to more than 25 LMS, SIS, and IAM providers (like Google Classroom, Clever, and ClassLink). By integrating to Edlink, ECS Learning Systems would have one centralized location to manage and browse synced data, such as schools, classes, and student information. ECS Learning Systems could also leverage Edlink’s data management tools to clean up “messy” datasets and use the Edlink IT Admin onboarding flow to streamline the onboarding process to about 5 minutes. With Edlink as their integration partner, ECS Learning Systems can save significant development time and money, so they can keep their focus on their core product and not focus on integrations.
