About the relationship:
Classkick was about to begin working in even more higher learning institutions and knew they needed to provide integrations to improve their user experiences. Looking for solutions, Classkick Software Engineer Scott Yelvington reached out to Edlink via a contact form, which led Scott to book a meeting with Edlink's Co-Founder Amanda Goodson.
During their first call, Scott and Amanda dug into Classkick’s decision-making process – either working with Edlink or building LTI specification integrations themselves. The Classkick team needed integrations to support grade passback which would remove the manual task of copying and pasting grades. After hearing more about Edlink, Classkick selected Edlink as their integration partner.
In one integration to Edlink, Classkick could connect to 25+ LMS, SIS, and IAM providers like Moodle, PowerSchool, and ClassLink. Edlink’s integration also supports API and LTI specification integrations, so that Classkick could tailor the type of experiences they wanted to provide for their learning institutions. And when they use Edlink’s LTI specification integrations, Classkick can avoid the complexities and intricacies of how different LMS providers have implemented the LTI specification. Classkick’s development process can be streamlined by using Edlink as an integration partner, saving significant development time and resources to focus on their mission to transform classroom learning.
